Spider-Man Archives (Rittenhouse 2009) signature page
When I used to be heavily into collecting sketch cards, Scoundrel was one of the forums I used to frequent. When this set was new, there was a need to have a signature page for this release because, well, some of the artists' scribbles were not obvious. I doubt anyone needs this anymore, but what's the harm in keeping it here. A couple of brief notes:
- This is the first signature page I completed, probably back in late 2009, using mainly eBay and the old Scoundrel site. It remained basically unchanged until mid-2023. I don't know if Jeff Allender's site existed back then, but I revisited it to make sure the information was updated. I also updated the layout to match the other signature pages and will, as time allows update images, too. Image resolutions were far lower 13-years ago!
- Rittenhouse did not provide any place on the reverse for artists to sign, so any identification--aside from style--is usually from a signature or flourish on the front of the card.
- Checklist and numbers pulled from Jeff Allender's page.
- I miss the 1:box sketch sets that Rittenhouse put out!
- There are a few I am missing, and they are noted below with a red block. These signature pages are a labor of love and I can't scour sites every day looking for them, so if you have a scan and can help out, please reach out to me and I can include it here.
