2022-23 Marvel Annual (UD 2024) signature page
Wondering whose sketchcard you pulled from this perennial Marvel Annual set? Some artists are easy to tell, other artists' scribbles are not so obvious. Some have an artistic flourish of sorts on the front. When found, those are below as well. A couple of brief notes:
- Checklist taken from Beckett (so sad Cardboard Connection apparently isn't around anymore!) and GTS. I updated it when it hit ePack. There were a lot of artists who only appear on the ePack checklist, and they are noted below.
- There were regular sketches as well as "Ready for Action" booklets. On ePack, there were 67 regular artists and 65 booklet artists, so pretty much the same list. Unfortunately the booklet scans were too dark to tell any unique numbers (rather the background over that particular part of the card was dark so the number did not stand out enough).
- There were 32 artists who had sketch 4-piece achievements, but they all did regular cards as well.
- The numbering scheme on the backs of the booklets are completely different from the regular sketchcards. On ePack the numbers are difficult to make out because of the way the cards are scanned, so I didn't go try and find the individual artist numbers for those.
- There are still some I am missing, and they are noted below with a red block. These signature pages are a labor of love and I can't scour sites every day looking for them, so if you have a scan to help out, please reach out to me and I can include it here.
- I started keeping an eye on blanks that were being offered on the secondary market:
- Artist Scott James blank regular blanks (AN100) and an AP (RFAB96) on eBay (seller scott21green).
- Nestor Celario had blank APs he stated were aftermarket he was commissioning off in various Facebook groups.
