2021-22 Marvel Annual (UD 2022) signature page
Wondering whose sketchcard you pulled from this perennial Marvel Annual set? Some artists are easy to tell, other artists' scribbles are not so obvious. Some have an artistic flourish of sorts on the front. When found, those are below as well. A couple of brief notes:
- The checklist was originally pulled 05 May 2023, using the Cardboard Connection checklist. It was updated once it hit ePack in September of 2023.
- Kind of a weird set with who did what. Some did only regular sketches, and some who did only Battle Booklets only did a select few. Only a handful of artists did no Battle Booklets. No artist did ONLY Battle Booklets. All of this is subject to change once ePack hits, I guess.
- Battle Booklet artist numbers ranged from 23 to 36, if the checklists are to be believed. Some artists only did one or two, others did all of the booklets.
- Images taken from eBay and then ePack once it hit there.
- Shame on you eBay sellers who don't scan the backs, or do not try and list who the artists are. I know who you are... Shame. On. You.
- There are still some I am missing, and they are noted below with a red block. These signature pages are a labor of love and I can't scour sites every day looking for them, so if you have a scan to help out, please reach out to me and I can include it here.
- I started keeping an eye on blanks that were being sold on eBay:
- Seller maxxattackk has sold several blanks, both normal cards and Battle Books; either there is no scan of the back, or if so the number at the bottom is conveniently cut off or digitally scrawled through. They did let one Battle booklet slip through, and it has 061 as its number.
- Seller t8gallery has sold AP blanks with 025 as the numer
- Seller rockysara88 sold a blank AP with 010 as the number (shared with Scott James).
