Complete Avengers (Rittenhouse 2006) signature page
Wondering whose sketchcard you pulled from 2006's Complete Avengers? Some artists are easy to tell, other artists' scribbles are not so obvious. Hopefully the samples below will help. A couple of brief notes:
- Rittenhouse did not provide any place on the reverse for artists to sign, so any identification--aside from style--is usually from a signature or flourish on the front of the card.
- The first of many sets produced by Rittenhouse while they held the Marvel license; this one had sketches inserted at 1:40, so a little more rare than the 1:box they typically released.
- Checklist pulled from Jeff Allender's page, as well as numbers of cards done.
- Pretty much all images pulled from eBay. It's a tough thing to do more than 15 years after a set is released. That said...
- There are still some I am missing, and they are noted below with a red block. These signature pages are a labor of love and I can't scour sites every day looking for them, so if you have a scan and can help out, please reach out to me and I can include it here.
